Toddler Time for children 18 months to 3 years is scheduled on the first Thursday of every month at 10 AM and 6:30 PM. The short program includes songs, action rhymes, stories and an activity.
Story Time for Preschoolers is the first and third Tuesdays of every month at 10 AM and 6:30 PM. The program includes books and stories centered around a theme.
Summer Reading Program for children is a literature-based activity to promote reading and library usage, with two reading levels -- preschool and elementary and up. There is also a summer reading program for teens.
Book Discussion Group for adults meets the second Tuesday of each month.
Writers Live at the Library is a series of programs designed to increase visibility of writers and libraries, and bring together writers and members of the public through library programming. Dates, programs and times are varied.
Books for Babies - every newborn in the Watseka area is given the gift of a new book to promote reading.
Memorials and Gifts - An opportunity to honor and commemorate a special person. Made possible by contributions from individuals, the gifts may be made for books or special library projects.
